This optional add-on is currently available for just £ 4 extra per month and offers a cash lump sum of up to £ 6,000 in the event of one of 18 specific broken bones. Children’ s critical illness cover – Cover the kids, for less than a coffee
Receiving a critical illness diagnosis for a child is devastating, and the only thing your client should worry about at such a difficult time is caring for their family. Our Children’ s Critical Illness Cover is our second optional benefit, available to add to new Protect or Breathing Space policies for an additional cost. We’ ll let your client choose from £ 1,000 to £ 25,000 of cover, so they’ ll only ever pay for the cover they need. And, with the maximum cover currently coming in at just
£ 3.50 extra per month, it’ s an affordable way to cover the family should the unthinkable happen. We cover 78 critical illnesses, including 58 full payment conditions and 20 additional payments conditions, and we don’ t include a survival period because we know that the diagnosis is hard enough.
By offering Children’ s Critical Illness Cover alongside your client’ s income protection policy, they’ ll have the security of knowing that their income protection will stay in place, even if they need to claim for their children. Plus, if both parents are taking out a policy with us, and both choose to add CCIC, that’ s up to £ 50,000 of cover to protect any children they have now, plus any more they choose to have in the future.
