If you were one of the many that attended our Protection Academy in December 2020 , you might remember a short , focussed discussion between Gary Harrison and Steve Giles , where the pair discussed Steve ’ s professional and personal experience of protection products both as an adviser and as a claimant under his ‘ own arranged ’ protection policies .
Many have contacted us since , wanting to know more and asking whether a recording of Steve ’ s Academy session is available . The simple answer is yes , within the new SimplyProtect hub but we thought we would take the opportunity to speak with Steve for Protection Tomorrow to find out more about his thoughts on protection , how he feels the subject should sit in the advice process and how his own experience has affected that approach , alongside any key messaging he is able to offer like-minded advisers .
Steve is very much a character and a forthright thinker , and we are very pleased to count him as a longstanding member of SimplyBiz . He is passionate about his role as an adviser and in true Mastermind style , were he to have a chosen specialist topic in his working life , that would be highly likely to be protection , although there are so many areas he is actively involved with he would have a long list from which to choose . Steve has a lot to say , he is staunch in his views and what he does impart is all highly relevant and insightful .
