Today , the UK is experiencing substantial post-pandemic repercussions . Long delays to non-urgent health services ; mental-health effects of the imposed restrictions on our socialising and travel ; and general raised anxiety and uncertainty . It ’ s undeniable that the urgent diversion of valuable healthcare and resources was essential to treat those who were seriously ill with coronavirus symptoms . Although the legacy of this health emergency is that many people who were already suffering with chronic health issues , are struggling further .

We ’ ve all witnessed the huge challenge that the coronavirus pandemic has presented to health services over the last two years . We ’ re here for your clients and can provide them with personalised help when they need it , from the emotional to the practical .

They ’ re witnessing first-hand , the postpandemic impact upon people who live with long-term mental and / or physical illness . Meaning they were , and in some cases still are , isolating for even longer than the general population during the pandemic , as infection with coronavirus could have been particularly dangerous coupled with low immunity . This long-term isolation has increased anxiety , depression and social phobias for many . It has also seen an increase in those living with physical pain , while they wait for surgery . How our Wellbeing Support can help
Support is included as standard for your clients from the day they take out Legal & General personal protection with an intermediary . This includes life , critical illness , income protection , rental protection or business protection policies . The service is delivered by RedArc Assured Ltd ’ s experienced registered nurses ; and the broad help can range from a reassuring chat , information , advice and guidance , to a clinical assessment and organising specialist services .
Help could include :
• practical and emotional – the client ’ s assigned nurse will call as often as they need , for as long as it takes
• mental health – support with stress , anxiety , depression or trauma including organising a course of specialist counselling if appropriate
